Ocean Monmouth Care in Brick, NJ, offers outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), Office-Based Opiate Treatment (OBOT), and Medically Supervised Detox programs for men and women with opioid use disorder and drug addiction. We use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) – methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) – to stabilize patients, which allows them to benefit from therapy and counseling. By combining medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with evidence-based therapies, we help adults manage their addiction to opioids to live healthy, productive lives.
This place has been nothing short of great. It really helps that my counselor is one of my favorite people in the world. Always there for me when I needed someone. The entire staff from director, nurses and the front desk staff led by Jen. When I was homeless and down and out I was lucky to have some of the most compassionate people I've ever known to be there for me when nobody else was.

OMC is a great place for addicts who're ready to quit using and who want to learn to live responsibly. If you still want to get high, I do not suggest coming here. They gave me the opportunity to change my way of thinking and earn my life back. It didn't happen all at once, but over time I was able to gain back most of what I lost to drugs and alcohol. Today I have over 5 years clean and able to be a man who is relied upon and trusted. I am very thankful to OMC and the staff that help me keep my life on track, they saved my life and helped me reach a point where I am confident in myself and enthusiastic about my future.

Ocean Monmouth Care is an outpatient methadone clinic and Suboxone clinic in Brick, New Jersey; we help the citizens of Brick and surrounding areas recover from addiction to opioids like heroin and prescription painkillers.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone and Suboxone (buprenorphine) has been shown to significantly reduce opioid deaths. These medications eliminate the addicting euphoric effects of opioids themselves while reducing the debilitating symptoms of withdrawal. Once a patient is stabilized on the proper dose of medication, they can more effectively participate in traditional individual, family or group therapies.
Ocean Monmouth Care has a medical doctor on staff, as well as 24-hour nursing coverage allowing us to provide outpatient drug rehab, intensive outpatient drug addiction treatment (IOP) and medically supervised drug detox programs, as well as the ability to safely treat pregnant women.
The intake and evaluation program at Ocean Monmouth helps our drug and alcohol counselors determine the best medication and therapies to help a patient achieve sobriety and identify and resolve the underlying issues that contributed to the addiction.
Personalized treatment plans can include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET). You will also receive 12-step group support and/or SMART Recovery, and education classes on substance use disorders. In addition, we offer trauma-informed care, art therapy, mindfulness programs, case management services, and aftercare monitoring.
Patients will find a welcoming and supportive environment at Ocean Monmouth Care – we offer gender-specific treatment groups and integrate 12-step strategies into our programs. Some therapy sessions may be offered in a tele-counseling environment and potential Suboxone (buprenorphine) patients will appreciate our telehealth intake program. To provide accessible outpatient drug rehab to the largest number of patients, we gladly accept various state and private health insurance plans such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
