Recovery Works Morgan, a newly renovated 32-bed drug and alcohol detox program at Indiana University Health Morgan Medical Center in Martinsville, Indiana, is planned to open late 2022/early 2023. The new unit will provide withdrawal management (detox), care coordination and long-term addiction recovery planning for adult men and women who come through the IU Health network or from the surrounding community.
Medically Monitored Withdrawal Management
This service is intended for adult men and women taking their first step toward recovery. Upon admission, patients are immediately placed into the hands of experienced addiction professionals to ensure a safe, medically monitored detoxification.
Aftercare Planning
After a clinical assessment is completed, patients work with our team to develop their aftercare treatment plan, based on their individual clinical needs. Our goal for all of our patients is to chart their path to recovery, so they leave detox with the highest likelihood of success.

Georgetown, KYRecovery Works Georgetown is a free-standing, 67 bed, substance use disorder (SUD) rehabilitation facility situated on 10 lovely acres of central Kentucky landscape. Our primary service population is women and men, ages 18 and older, whose primary diagnosis is that of SUD, combined in many cases with a mild mental health disorder. Levels of care include: detoxification, inpatient, residential, partial hospital (PHP) and intensive outpatient service (IOP).
All services are licensed by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services, Office of Inspector General. We are also a licensed Medicaid provider and as such are referred to as a Behavioral Health Service Organization. Our clinical programs meet all state regulations with respect to direct clinical service hours as well as clinical staffing ratios.
Our evidence-based and person-centered treatment center offers individual and group counseling as well as psycho-educational groups and gender-specific groups. Recreation, meditation, and music are a sampling of other recovery-oriented opportunities our patients experience.
We encourage families to participate in their loved ones’ treatment and recovery.
We accept Medicaid and most commercial insurances; self-pay options are also available. We admit patients 24 hrs a day, 365 days per year. Our business office is open 7 days a week from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am until 5:00 pm on weekends and holidays. We also have a call center that is available 24 hours a day for inquiries and admissions.

Ravenna, OHRecovery Works Portage is a 36-bed detoxification unit located on the 3rd floor of University Hospitals (UH) Portage Medical Center that helps individuals manage the symptoms of withdrawal that occur when they stop taking drugs or alcohol after prolonged abuse. The program provides traditional detox services, care coordination and long-term recovery planning.
We are the only withdrawal management program in Portage county. We will work hard to meet our patients where they are currently. Our goal is to have them enter a successful recovery care pathway.
