Your Treatment, Your Recovery, Your Schedule

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) is perfect for those needing focused, intense treatment but can’t commit to the full day required by Partial Hospitalization or Residential programs. At the IOP level, you attend a shorter day of evidence-based treatment – the same components as residential and PHP – while still being able to work, go to school, and manage family commitments.

Your Personalized Recovery Plan

Our experienced staff designs a custom treatment program tailored to your unique needs. We discover what makes you tick and craft a therapeutic plan that maximizes your chances for successful, long-term recovery. We nurture your strengths and help you reconnect with your inner spirit in a caring, compassionate environment. Your recovery is our primary goal.

Your Customized Treatment Plan May Include:

Two people holding hands
People hugging during a group session
Back of people with one resting her head on the shoulder of the other
person holding wrist
Two people in chairs talking

Life After Intensive Outpatient Treatment

No treatment path is the same, so the length of your IOP treatment depends on:

  • Your specific needs, as determined by your initial biopsychosocial evaluation
  • Input from your primary therapist and clinical staff
  • The progress you make along your recovery journey

When you meet the mutually agreed-upon goals of your treatment plan, we work with you and your clinical team to create a plan for what’s next. Options typically include stepping down to our General Outpatient Program (GOP) or returning to daily life with support from our alumni programs and nationwide community network.

Your Path to Long-Term Recovery

We encourage taking your time as you move through each level of care. For some, the more free time you have, the more challenging recovery becomes.. Stepping down to IOP helps ease this transition, providing support to maintain recovery. Practice your new skills at home and in the real world, then return to discuss what works and what doesn’t with peers and therapists. We’re here to help you build your new life free from addiction.
