My position as a Patient Care Navigator allows me the opportunity to not only be the ‘bridge’ for people suffering from substance use but to be a person to talk with and walk the journey with family and friends of our patients.
I have lived experience of familial addiction. Not until I experienced personal trauma did I recognize the importance of treating those with a substance use disorder as well as helping the loved ones of our patients.
I enjoy meeting people in and out of our field and developing relationships with other service providers so we can work together as a team within our communities and assist in breaking the bonds of addiction.
