At Northeast Family Healthcare, we use a combination of medications and traditional therapy to assist clients with their opioid, heroin or prescription drug addiction. Our outpatient drug rehab is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) and we are National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC)-certified addiction professionals. 

Located in historic Bucks County, our Quakertown methadone clinic is ideally placed to accommodate clients from neighboring Allentown, Bethlehem and Richland townships. Our modern facility faces PA 309, in a thriving area filled with businesses, restaurants and stores. 

For clients who don’t drive, there are also several bus lines that offer service through our town. Potential clients eligible for buprenorphine (Suboxone) treatment may be eligible to participate in a telehealth intake, rather than having to travel for an in-office appointment. Because we understand that people in recovery must still meet work and family commitments we strive to make our services accessible by offering weekday 5:30a start times and Saturday dosing hours.

The fight against opioid and heroin addiction is most successful when the painful symptoms of detox and withdrawal are managed, allowing the patient to fully engage in traditional drug rehab modalities such as individual, group or family therapy. In addition to methadone, our clinic uses buprenorphine (Suboxone) and Vivitrol to reduce symptoms. Each client undergoes an extensive intake process, allowing our medical doctor and Masters-Level therapists to determine the best treatment for individual needs. 

Once a client’s drug use is stabilized using medication-assisted treatment, he or she will attend our Quakertown facility for additional treatment group therapy, family therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Drug and alcohol counselors also use motivational interviewing, stages of change and harm reduction skills to enhance clients’ lives.
