“These women helped save my life. I did the work but they made it possible. The patient care coordinator bent over backwards to help me get insurance, a ride, and a bed. The property staff made me feel so comfortable even when I came with nothing but dirty clothes and broken dreams. They helped me get my clothes cleaned and supplied body and hair care products. The kitchen staff didn't bat an eye when I asked for an extra sandwich because I hadn't eaten in days. The nurses listened to everything I had to say and helped make me comfortable. The regular day-to-day staff was caring and kind. Thanks Recovery Works!!!! I'm 10 months clean so far and I owe it to you for getting me started!"

"Thirty-three days ago I wanted to die. I wanted to give up. I felt so broken and unfixable. I felt worthless and that my loved ones would be better off without me. By the grace of God I was unsuccessful in my plan and given another chance at life, and I could not be more grateful and blessed to be alive and breathing today. The amount of gratitude I have and feel in my heart is overwhelming. Thirty-three days ago I entered rehab. Thirty-three days ago I admitted I was powerless. Thirty-three days ago I surrendered to my higher power that I choose to call God. Thirty-three days ago I was lost but now on my thirty-third day, I am found. I learned so much while I was in rehab. It was so hard to be away from my family but it was necessary."

At our Elizabethtown location, also known as “Etown”, we offer intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential treatment (RTC), alumni aftercare, and medically supervised detox. We have an in-depth understanding of addiction and know that everyone has a unique addiction story and needs their own customized treatment plan to meet their specific needs. With years of experience and success in the treatment of alcohol abuse, opioid addiction, as well as prescription and illicit drug abuse, our licensed and certified physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, clinicians, and support staff take the time to get to know you and create a comprehensive treatment plan based on the whole person so a sustainable recovery is possible.
Following a clinical evaluation, a program of treatment is recommended which may include individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychiatric services, and substance abuse education. In addition to these program options, Recovery Works Elizabethtown offers anger management, medication management, relapse prevention, grief and loss therapy, meditation groups, life skills groups, and more. In addition, we offer art therapy, music therapy, and on-site and off-site 12-step meetings including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
Our commitment to you goes beyond that of other treatment centers and we vow to support you and never give up on you even after you leave our Elizabethtown addiction treatment facility. Our free monthly alumni meetings are just one way our commitment to you continues past treatment.
