HealthQwest Frontiers – Macon is an Outpatient Narcotic Treatment Program offering treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. We treat our patients through General Outpatient (IOP), Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) methadone, buprenorphine, and Vivitrol coupled with one-on-one, individualized counseling from our Certified Addiction Counselors. Our clinic looks forward to helping serve our community to make Bibb County a healthier, happier place.

    HealthQwest Frontiers Macon is an outpatient drug treatment center for patients who are suffering from opioid addiction. The medication-assisted program (MAP) combines traditional drug counseling with medication, such as methadone, naltrexone, and buprenorphine (Suboxone) to help people recover from addiction. These medications reduce painful withdrawal symptoms so that the client can focus on identifying and treating the root causes of their addiction.

    Macon lies on the Ocmulgee River, in the center of Georgia. Our Suboxone clinic is minutes from exit 167 off I-75 and close to Amerson River Park. Given our proximity to the Interstate, we are a convenient choice for patients from the surrounding communities of Byron and Bolingbroke. Although close to the highway, the building is located in a low-traffic area on a dead-end road with ample parking. Macon, Georgia, known as the “Heart of Georgia,” is home to the historic Hay House and the Tubman Museum, the picturesque Rose Hill Cemetery, and Amerson River Park.

    We have a medical doctor on staff and Piedmont Macon North Hospital is just a short drive away, providing quick access to medical assistance should someone participating in our outpatient rehab program require emergency care.

    The Certified Addiction Counselors at HealthQwest Macon understand that a patient’s personal history and life experiences will dictate the course of their recovery from opioid addiction. As such, we conduct a pre-admission evaluation to ensure that our outpatient rehab is a good match for the patient, with Suboxone intakes available by phone. Our addiction professionals will use the results of the evaluation to select the appropriate medication – methadone, naltrexone or buprenorphine (Suboxone) – and determine which individual therapy sessions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and relapse prevention, would be a good fit.
