The counselors are really nice, pretty strict rules but I you want to get clean by using methadone in roseville you have to just deal with it considering it's the only clinic.

This is a good place to go for treatment they have Suboxone treatment and methadone treatment. Plus counseling once a week that's pretty much mandatory. But that's with all clinics. I have been here for over 5 years clean and sober. There are three dosing windows and the nurses are nice and prompt. There's usually a doctor in every day to see patients except for the weekend I think. But I recommend this out of all clinics around Sacramento because I have been to most of them. It's nice being able to function like a normal human being everyday, I consider it a blessing to be in the program.

I love this place. It really did save my life. I don't know where I'd be if not for aegis. I've been treated with nothing but respect here.

I have been coming here for almost 2 years now. I got my counselor after being here for about 2 weeks and I am extremely happy with her. First of all, when I saw she was a older woman, I was thrilled! It's difficult for most of us to take orders let alone take them from a younger person! 2nd, she's just amazing. I have been to quite a few clinics over the years and this one is the 2nd best. I say that because of bivalley and Dr John McCarthy. He is the very best there is. He's retired now so here I am and happy. If my counselor ever leaves however, I don't know..... I see in the early morning, when folks are trying to get to work, they really should have all 3 windows open. It can be frustrating sometimes and no one is at their best at 5 am!

Staff is awesome, always there to help out. They have made my experience pretty easy to go through.

Kind and compassionate staff, helpful and just all around the BEST run clinic offering Opiate/opioid replacement therapy... (Methadone/suboxone clinic) A great place to begin a journey of sobriety. It is a great way and I believe the proper way to detox from these drugs (pharmaceutical or street) , Aegis offers you a real chance at being successful in your detox program on your initial attempt(and will not give up on you if it takes you a little while to get on track 100%. This is much better than attempting to do it without the supervision of a Dr (licensed in addiction medicine and a counselor who is also licensed and credentialed) not only will your odds of success go up in a program like this, but you will get support for everything you're rebuilding in you're life and getting back on your feet, getting sober and doing it the way you feel best about. It is also the safest detox program in place county, especially that will take Medi-Cal. If you do not have private insurance or can't afford to pay $. Aegis Saved my life, after 11 years of failing at sobriety.

I’ve read this before but never happen to me until today but it really does seem like they make policies up as they go. I had a RX I turned in and it said AS NEEDED so I was told it was good for 3 months nobody ever told me I needed to stil bring it back every month. So today I go to get more takehomes but I can because I have a unfavorable UA for a RX that is good and current. They want to punish you for doing good it’s sad!!!!

This clinic has great counselors and been have great sessions. Been happier after each session. Thank you guys! playing an instrumental role in peoples lifes. Many blessings!!

5 stars for my counselor, Chris. I know this sounds cliche but Chris saved my life. It’s been 1 year and 6 months now.. and there’s really nothing I can say to justify my appreciation.. but I’ll try. His approach to counseling is unique and extremely effective. I have an extreme anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and depression along with an opiate addiction. When I first began seeing Chris I was experiencing 3-4 panic attacks daily and extreme anxiety all day long. I’ve had past experience with mindfulness, CBT, and DBT skills but nothing seemed to help. (Except heroin, which is why I’m in recovery). I was very uptight at first, not wanting to open up to someone I don’t even know (which is natural) however, I quickly began to understand that he was really there for ME. Over time it became more and more apparent that his patients are his number one priority. After I was able to open up about my problems, my anxiety level dropped drastically. Four panic attacks turned into two, then maybe one every other day, until now? Zero. I still have anxiety and I away will. But he helped me understand that it’s just a part of me and I’ve accepted that now. His approach to counseling is second to none. He’s taught me more about mental health, addiction and recovery then I ever imagined. I’m even motivated to go back to school due to his lessons! And NOT EVEN ONCE did he make me feel like I was required to do something. As noted before, his approach to recovery is incredible. I learned how philosophy applies to the origins of modern psychology and it’s historical value. It helped me understand the roots of my addiction and mental health, but where he really shines is his ability to teach me skills to use AFTER I leave our meeting. (In the real world) Over time this translated into confidence. I couldn’t even get out of bed, terrified to even text my best friend, injecting heroin all day to getting my life back! I have relationship with my family and good friends again as well. There’s so much more I’d like to say but there’s no way I could put it all into words. Thank you Chris, thank you. -Taylor P

I have been with Aegis on and off since 2000. They have always been there for me and having been in clinics from Daytona Beach to Atlanta GA and a few in between, i can honestly say the Aegis family(from Margaret to Tammy.)have always done their best to keep me on the "straight and narrow" and i am very happy to be with Aegis.

Definitely a professional place run clean and organized people are upset leaving bad reviews with most problems not on Aegis it self been there for years no issues clean record etc

Gave me back my life and freedom! Some patients complain about rules or an attitude they recieved from a staff member, but I'd encourage them to take their recovery seriously and take responsibility for it. Only you can decide to have real recovery in your life and change your attitudes, behaviors and old associations. Everyone has their days but overall ALL the staff have been extremely warm, considerate and generous in helping me to become the best version on myself. They truly care about your life and success in recovery which is hard to find in this industry as I now work in the AOD/SUD field. Wonderful addiction treatment center and wonderful business in the city of Roseville.

Can someone please help I'm worried since I'm a walk in I won't be seen or dosed. Are there any success walk in s?

I'm very happy with my treatment at Aegis, the staff are very nice and make me feel human when I go in not just some junkie that is dirt. My counselor is the best and she listens to me not just because it's her job I truly think she cares. as I believe the others from front ladys to nurses all are very nice always have a kind word to say and they just make it easy to get the help I need. I will never regret the day I walked into Aegis and asked for help, they have been helping me every step of my recovery. Thank you Aegis for saving my life. My counselor Julie is the reason I'm doing so well, I believe if she was not my counselor I would have a very hard time doing my weekly counseling sessions. I have really bad anxiety to the point that I do not leave my house, the only time I leave is for my my counseling every week. She is very easy to talk to and she just makes me feel that she's just not doing her job that she really cares about you and wants to help and she really does. I enjoy talking to her every week. Thank you Julie for helping me through some of the hardest times of my life, you have been wonderful.

This place is great. They have been really good about keeping my schedules , they are quite good at keeping up with everything else even when the computers are down.

I have nothing but good things to say in regards to Aegis Treatment Center. My experience going 7 days a week is that they have friendly, compassionate and professional staff there. I try to make going on a daily basis something positive and actually I enjoy my day starting out on a positive note. And what better way than seeing positive prople first start of my day. I would reccomend Aegis to anyone who has beena victim of a physician who cuts your pain medication down or completely off and you struggle with Chronic pain or if you are tired of the lifestyle illicit drugs bring around and you want to get off the merry-go-round of being a slave daily to your addiction.

I see certain people having issues and hear about it as I talk to people there. I just personally have never dealt with it for whatever reason. It has tremendously helped me. Went from homeless and at the bottom to working a good job, with a house, car and all the things I couldn't seem to hold onto during my addiction. They also gave me a bunch of resources during the beginning that helped. Everyone's experience is different of course and counselors and staff are going to vary in their personality etc. If you feel you have tried everything else and without success give it a shot.. Not the best option but its a successful one if you utilize the counseling and resources and taper in good time and don't ultimately just switch addictions, which can and does happen. Overall it's a program and it isn't always easy but you got this 😁

Great place to get opioid treatment

I have had the best experience with a Dr. Sarah Nasir. She realized that I was struggling and worked with me on a solution and actually found a treatment plan that is both therapeutic and effective and helping me maintain sobriety. She even on her own time set up recovery coaching and I have also utilized this resource to my benefit and I continue to grow and am for once excited about my future again. I would also like to say there is a phenomenal counselor I have named Ashley and she has been an emotional rock for me and has helped me tremendously as well. So yes if you find the right professionals amazing things can take place with your effort.

Staff is wonderful! Counselors help you reach your goals; short term or long-term. Aegis helps you develop a new lifestyle and teaches you how to become drug free. They have many programs for support and specialized groups. You will be treated like a real person without judgment. They keep you educated and education is great

Getting sober isnt easy and Aegis does everything in their power to make the process easier on their patients. I've been a patient for years and reallly struggled in the beginning. Now I have 3 years sober and have aegis to thank for it. If people are giving low reviews, it is because they refuse to take accountability for their own mistakes and actions. Aegis deals with hundreds of patients on a daily basis and can recognize when someone is serious about staying clean or if there just going through the motions at someone else's expense. No one ever said getting clean was going to be easy, some times mistakes happen. They are human beings too and the dosing nurses dont even get paid usually because they're doing it for clinic hours. They are truly saints behind a tiny window. I adore the staff and couldn't imagine how dull the place would be without them holding down the fort. I will be one to admit that I carried my own bias against Aegis for awhile when I slipped up for the first time in years. It is funny how addicts will blame everyone around them for thier mistakes instead internalizing the issue in order to learn from it. Thank you very much aegis team! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to an addict in need. You all have given me the inspiration to do something positive with my life. God bless.

The staff is amazing, so super supportive. Christopher is the best counselor, our sessions go by so quickly, too quickly! I miss talking to him on our off days often! I really enjoy coming in and seeing everyone in the morning, I know it’s part of the reward system to not have to come every day but I really do look forward to it. Everyone is so kind and warm and amazing. Don’t ever ever close!! 🙏🏻

I like coming to the clinic. Staff is usually friendly. I've only experienced one negative thing over my time in treatment with the program with my UA result.
