Serving the diverse Merced community since 2006, we have grown alongside our community to serve patients across cultures and languages enabling us to remove barriers to treatment. Through the expansion of Merced County’s mental health resources, our patients have been able to utilize and get help with their needs. Our team of compassionate staff is dedicated to helping our patients patients succeed in areas obtaining employment and medical care. As Merced County continues to grow, Aegis will continue to expand in its ability to provide more assistance through referrals and outreach.

General Outpatient Treatment (OP)

Medication - Assisted Treatment (MAT):
MAT - Methadone, MAT - Buprenorphine/Suboxone

Core Treatment Services:
Medical and Functional Assessment, Education about Substance Use Disorders, Individualized Treatment Plans, Patient-centered Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Psychoeducational Programming, Peer-based support integrated into program, Telehealth intakes available (buprenorphine patients only), Tele-counseling sessions

Specific Services for Pregnant Patients, Gender-specific Groups, Culture-specific groups

Specialized Programming:

Our Merced, California outpatient drug rehab is located in central Merced on W. Main St at U St. We are also convenient to the Fergus, CA and Bear Creek, CA area.

At Aegis Merced we strive to meet the needs of a diverse community, serving patients from different cultures and who speak other languages. We know that our patients will be most successful if they can find employment and our Life Skills training is one part of helping you stabilize and find footing in recovery. We also offer cognitive behavioral therapy, relapse prevention tips, and specialized services for pregnant patients and culture-specific groups.

Recovery from opioid use disorder is complex. We need to address the physical, the psychological, the familial, and the emotional components to develop a whole-person approach to treatment.
