Acquisition significantly increases Pinnacle’s reach and capabilities in treating those suffering from substance use disorder
Pinnacle Treatment Centers is expanding to the West Coast! We are excited to announce the acquisition of Aegis Treatment Centers in California. Founded in 1982, Aegis is a leading provider of outpatient opioid treatment programs, offering counseling and medication-assisted treatment to more than 10,000 patients daily through 35 facilities throughout the state.
Similar to Pinnacle, Aegis has a long track record of providing effective treatment rooted in evidence-based care. We’re excited to partner with Aegis to extend our reach to California and continue assisting communities that have been plagued by the opioid epidemic.
Following the union with Aegis, Pinnacle will provide substance use disorder treatment to more than 28,000 patients daily through a full continuum of care and an integrated network of community-based inpatient and outpatient facilities in seven states.
Aegis’ mission-driven, local care delivery model is very similar to Pinnacle’s. We share a common vision – to help as many individuals as possible find hope, healing and recovery, and gain the skills and confidence to lead a drug-free life.
Pinnacle plans to keep the Aegis Treatment Centers name, which is well-known in the communities Aegis has been serving for 30 years.
Pinnacle is one of a select few providers to offer underserved communities with affordable addiction treatment and the option of outpatient care. This model of care empowers patients to take control of their treatment as it affords them the opportunity to maintain employment, school obligations and family commitments while getting the treatment necessary to address their recovery.
