More Centers to Open Soon in Other Ohio Communities. We Create Healthy and Hopeful Communities.

-FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE-

Youngstown, Ohio

Choose Life. Choose Hope.

Youngstown Treatment Services is now OPENED and treating people in the Youngstown-area. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) deaths from substance use continue to rise in Ohio, which is attributed to fentanyl and other illicit substances. Youngstown Treatment Services provides opioid-use disorder treatment in Youngstown and area communities and accepts Medicaid. This region has been featured in the international news due to significant deaths from lethal opioids. Local officials applaud this new facility.

As the heroin epidemic continues to plague our Community, and the rest of our country, it is imperative that we have treatment facilities such as Youngstown Treatment Services, to be there in the time of crisis!! I want to commend Kathleen Caughell, Program Administrator and her staff for answering the call of those who desperately need these types of services!  As a County Commissioner, I look forward to working with Youngstown Treatment Services in the future to help make our Community better” Anthony Traficanti, Mahoning County Commissioner said.

Youngstown Treatment Services utilizes evidenced-based treatment interventions to drive strong clinical results with therapies and medical protocols recognized as the best practices. This places patients on a strong path to long-term recovery. The Center has an agreement with One Health Ohio to jointly treat individuals. One Health Ohio provides primary medical care and dental care as well as behavioral health, lab testing, pharmacy services and treatment through their mobile unit.

“One Health Ohio, an integrated health care delivery system, is proud to collaborate with Pinnacle, to support our collective efforts to battle the drug epidemic tormenting our community. Through Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs and behavioral health counseling, our combined efforts will help defeat this problem and improve the overall health of this valley,” Ronald Dwinnells, M.D., MBA, CEO, said.

Outpatient treatment enables individuals to receive care immediately, on their own terms, and with a program that aligns with life’s challenges. Youngstown Treatment Services offers a convenient schedule for people to fight this disease real time and is opened six days weekly.

The current four Ohio outpatient locations are Cincinnati, Dayton, Chillicothe and:

An Open House (for the public) and ribbon cutting will be held on February 15th 2-4 PM.

We initially opened a residential treatment center in Columbus, Ohio in 2016. Since that time, through our involvement with key opinion leaders, we have determined the need for more treatment to serve other communities in Ohio.” Joe Pritchard, Chief Executive Officer, Pinnacle Treatment Centers, said.

Outpatient Treatment enables individuals to visit facilities on a regular basis and to maintain their work and family schedules. The treatment program generally includes Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) utilizing either Methadone or Suboxone. Future programming will offer Vivitrol as an additional option.  Individuals receive personal counseling, group therapy, educational classes and are encouraged to attend outside twelve-step meeting. Youngstown Treatment Services, along with One Health Ohio’s primary medical, dental and general care, provides full treatment for our patients.  This approach addresses the individual’s medical, physical, spiritual and psychological challenges.

“Youngstown Treatment is located on the borders of Trumbull and Mahoning counties, in Liberty Township.  According to reports from the Prescription Overdose Coalition of Mahoning County, the 44505-zip code represents one of the top two areas for overdoses. Our doors are opened and we accept walk-ins,” Kathleen Caughell, Executive Director, said.

Youngstown Treatment Center has worked closely with local medical professionals, law enforcement, community, and business organizations.

The staff at Youngstown Treatment Services and I look forward to and are committed to being an active partner alongside all these individuals to enhance the services available to this community,” Caughell said.
