It was a beautiful day in Painesville, Ohio, to celebrate with the community our official opening of Painesville Treatment Services. This program serves as our 19th outpatient opioid addiction treatment center in the Buckeye State and is part of our mission in Ohio to expand and offer care where it’s needed most.
The ceremony featured remarks by the Painesville Township Lake County Ohio, Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, and others. Attendees participated in a candlelight moment of silence to honor lives lost to overdose and shine a spotlight on the nation’s first Fentanyl Awareness Day (May 10). And, because leftover and unused prescription drugs contribute to the opioid crisis, Deterra System drug disposal pouches were given out so everyone can play a role in helping to prevent drug abuse.
