I struggled with addiction for most of my adult life. I was addicted to fentanyl and meth, but it all started years earlier with opioids—Vicodin, “blues,” and other prescription medications. I entered treatment programs on and off for years, but I never truly committed. I didn’t take the program seriously, and I couldn’t stay clean.
On January 11, 2025, everything changed.
I came back to the program asking for help again—but this time, I was fully committed. I had been serious before, but not wholeheartedly. What was different this time was my faith. I had found my faith in Christ Jesus, and that changed everything. My faith and this program worked together in a way I had never experienced before.
The same program I had failed so many times in the past became the program that saved my life.
The last time I used drugs was in January 2025. Since then, I’ve not only stayed clean, I’ve also quit smoking cigarettes. This program has been extremely helpful to me. I truly believe God put me on this path for a reason.
