Akron Treatment Services provides safe, medication-assisted treatment and counseling for adults struggling with addiction to opioids and painkillers. We offer medication-assisted treatment with Methadone and Buprenorphine/Suboxone coupled with traditional outpatient treatment services just 15 minutes south of downtown Akron, Ohio.

Treatment is individualized based on a clinical assessment of each patient’s needs. Treatment plans include individual and group therapy, education classes on substance use disorders, 12-step programs, SMART Recovery, and psychoeducational programming. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief/loss therapy, mindfulness, relapse prevention, and life skills training are also offered. In addition, gender-Specific Groups and specialized LGBTQ+ programming are available. Medicaid and private insurance are accepted.
