Call it replacing one drug with another or whatever but the methadone maintenance program saved my life, my marriage... Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings. It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works

She is actually trying to help me figure out why I became an addict and fix me! All the other places were happy with me being on methadone forever. In my opinion that's trading one drug for another.
