I'm a patient for 6yrs. And this isn't my first time sober but its my first time sober consistently without a hiccup for 6yrs. The staff finally settled after a small revolving door issue but I wouldn't ask for it to change at this point. Its the best as is.

OK so last year I was upset and wrote a negative review about Miners. I want to say that I was wrong they are wonderful caring staff and that they accepted me back into the clinic where I need to be right now. Thanks Miners Medical.

Staff is helpful and supportive. The counselors are compassionate and conduct themselves in a professional manner, but most importantly they truly are patient advocates. They've contacted facilities for info for me, kept an eye out for apartments for me, and written letters of reference in support of me etc.etc. In response to another review I cant say that i have ever experienced nor witnessed favoritism in any way. Staff is fair and tolerable, but discharge is always a possible outcome for anyone if policies are not followed. As far as policies are concerned every patient is required to attend one hour of group and one hour of individual counseling, which is a requirement determined by the state not the clinic. Dosing hours can be an inconvenience especially if your work schedule demands early morning hours and even more so Saturday mornings. There is supposed to be a 30 minute window when the clinic first opens that is designated for people who are headed to work, but there are people who take advantage of this. It really hurts those like myself who have to be at work by 6am. So if your planning on becoming a patient that's something to keep in mind. Despite the drawbacks, Methadone is a good option for anyone with a heroin addiction, especially if you haven't been successful with treatment. It will change your life for sure. Good luck to all

This place is a great place. The people are really nice and friendly. They don't make you feel any less than themselves. The only downside is that the program takes a while.

Miners is a godsend! I've been there since April of 2022 and I have always been treated with respect. My counselor is awesome and the nurses genuinely care. Only thing is the way the clients are allowed to treat the staff especially the nurses and counselors. Ive seen them cursed at threatened bodily harm and stuff thrown at them because the client was told they can't be dosed that day because they were visibly under the influence. I've sat there in the waiting room and seen a client rip the check in kiosk which is bolted to the wall I right off the wall while screaming and cursing. The staff deserve more respect. That is my only complaint

I guest dosed here today at the VERY last minute and they couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. Corey, the head counselor absolutely went out of his way to help me. I usually get 2 weeks of take homes and they would only give me a week, but Corey tried very hard to get them to do it. Im grateful as could be to have gotten it done at all at such last minute. This is a first rate clinic with exceptional employees. I’m very grateful and would higly recommend them!!

I have been a patient for over 4 years. This is my 3rd methadone clinic so I've had a chance to see how other clinics are run and how different states have different rules (my other 2 clinics were down south). Its been a tough decision, but I've finally decided Miner's Medical is my favorite one that I've been at. They are very good about working with you on the money situation, and will help you find funding options (there are several here thankfully). I've been to clinics where they immediately start withdrawing you to dose out if you are $1 short on bill day; that is not the case at Miner's. The only other thing I have to say is PLEASE do your best to be courteous to the staff. Most of them get paid dirt wages (particularly the counselors) and they do have to put up with a lot. I definitely can understand the favoritism complaints and am not gonna say it doesn't happen, but in my experience if you treat them well they will reciprocate. Also nursing can typically tell if you are putting zero effort into your recovery so no surprised Pikachu face if they call you out on it or refuse to increase your dose until you start pissing cleaner.
