I have been coming here for over 5 years. The only reason it has taken this long is because of 2 pregnancies. Anyway, Aegis has a wonderful staff, the counselors are awesome and certified in many different types of counseling besides addiction. The best part is Dr. Lasher who is very knowledgeable about methadone. Their goal is to get you off methadone completely by setting up a taper once you are ready and at the correct pace for the individual. Currently I taper 2mgs a week and it's working great. But if it becomes too much too handle you can just hold at your current dose or even go back up if needed. The property both inside and out is very well maintained and clean. They are also child friendly. I love this place and feel very confident I am in safe hands.

I came to Aegis just over 3 months ago. Just got my weekend take-home bottles and it's wonderful! My experience has been nothing but positive. From the girls in the front to the girls in the back and security in between they are super people. Efficient, curtious and have never made me feel anything but special. My counselor is fantastic. I look forward to my sessions with him. He has done everything in his power to make this a positive experience. Thanks to his encouragement I have self with a serious medical condition I'd been ignoring for years. My thanks to all.

I really like Aegis treatment center. The staff are respectful and very discreet when it comes to your privacy. Dr. Lasher is great he genuinely cares about your sobriety and how comfortable you are on your dose without being sedated. Aegis has saved my life . I'm happily in a relationship and raising my 4 beautiful kids in a drug free environment. Thank you Aegis for everything.

I started there in 12-2012 I have been clean going to be 2 years in dec. if it wasn't for this clinic , counselor's and the meetings that I run and attend I don't know where I would be . As long as you give clean Ua's go to meetings be honest with the staff and do what ur suppose to do everything is great !!!! I currently run a meeting called K2R and I love it THANKS AEGIS I've been cleaning going on 2 years in December all because of the clinics house !! And I would recommend this clinic over all the other ones In Fresno !! Nice and friendly service , very welcoming ! And I feel that the Dr is very nice and is always there when you need something !!!!

I saw a comment on here that says Alexa is a great counselor, if it’s the same Alexa NO WAY my husband had her for about 8 months he started telling me about his conversations with her and she mostly talked about herself after about 7 months she seemed to start getting flirty and then crossed a HUGE boundary with him which a counselor should NEVER do she knew what she was doing even said don’t tell your wife I told you this. So of course he switched counselors. Anyway other than her it’s definitely a good place for treatment and things are going great with his new counselor so far she doesn’t at all sound like his last one thank goodness.

Ive been coming to Aegis since February 1, 2001 except for a few years living in a different city. Before I moved back to Fresno I called an made an appointment. Unfortunately I missed 1 day because of traveling so I had to earn my bottles again. I've got 6 take homes and am waiting for my 13. I am editing my review because of my experirnce here with COVID 19. 2 weeks ago I went in and their computer system was down. No one got take homes so I went back the next day and computers were fixed but the line was around the block. Most of us waited 2 hours on the hottest day of the week. Tempers flared. Staff were telling patients to keep our masks on but it really was hard in the heat. Finally we all got dosed and got our take homes. Hopefully the kinks will get straightened out.

I have totally enjoyed my treatment at Aegis . You are treated like a person not a number. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by your name and the staff are always smiling. My counselor is strict but fair and she really cares about your mind, body and soul. She makes sure she finds out my week has gone and if I have any issues she is there to help me work thru them so I don't fall backwards in my treatment.
