South Shore-Greenup, Kentucky

Recovery Works, Pinnacle Treatment Center Network, has hired a new Executive Director, Peggy Gemperline, for its South Shore-Greenup location. The location originally opened in mid-2016. The facility is historically significant as it was originally the home of a “pill-mill” physician and, when purchased by Pinnacle Treatment Centers, became a treatment facility – coming full circle to treat and heal individuals impacted by addiction. It has been featured in the media and on international programming.

Gemperline is an award-winning leader in the field of health, psychiatry and addiction treatment. She holds an MA from The Ohio State University, a BA in Nursing and has worked in the Portsmouth area for many years. She has been actively engaged in the community as well as in the field of recovery.

Peggy not only brings technical clinical and leadership expertise, but passion for helping patients and their families find meaningful, lasting recovery. We are thrilled to have her leading our team in South Shore, Kentucky.” Diane Carugati M. Ed, Pinnacle Senior Vice President of Operations.

“Peggy is truly representative of the caliber of treatment professional Pinnacle Treatment Centers and Recovery Works employ; insuring we are providing the very best in care to those we are honored to serve.” Joe Pritchard, CEO of Pinnacle Treatment Center Network said.

“I am thrilled to join Recovery Works as the Executive Director of South Shore-Greenup. The facility is first rate, ideally located and staffed with a team of solid professionals. It is my hope that we will continue to improve the lives of individuals who suffer from the disease known as addiction,” Gemperline said.
