Staff is awesome, methadone maintenance saved my life, great counsolers, the only problem is the one doctor Tutu, he is the most unprofessional, rudest man I ever met! Either he doesn't like white people, doesn't like recovering drug addicts, or just hates his job, unsure but never in my life was I treated so bad from another human being, No-one says anything as they are afraid he will mess with their dose or put you on hold, if he had a private practice that man would have no patients, he is the worst! I think this is the only job he could get! Terrible man- other then that the place is awesome!

Been going here for a very long time now. This is the best clinic in NJ. I’ve read some other reviews that say things about Dr. Tutu that aren’t true. Dr. Tutu is a great Dr. and he knows what he is doing. With his help, I’ve gotten my life back, and I’ve had it back for 6 years now. The reason people have a problem with him is because he is strict, as he should be when dealing with this type of treatment. Being strict is the ONLY way this program works-letting people “slide” only enables them to do poorly. Many people I’ve heard complain and cuss about him in the waiting room are people who want to abuse the program to get high and/or who clearly are not clean. Dr. Tutu is actually very kind and does have a heart. Every time I’ve seen him, I wave and say hi to him and he waves, says hi back, and smiles.

Great methadone clinic I been to em all in Monmouth and ocean county and they are by FAR the best most understanding staff

This place saved my life. The staff is friendly and they do not make you feel like a useless waste of a life. Dawn runs the place and is an awesome and terrific person. I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking to change their life and become the wonderful person they want or use to be. Thank you Ocean Monmouth Care !!!!

This place is amazing if you do what you're supposed to do .I've been clean going on almost 6 years. I have not touched anything other than my methadone which I take daily when I'm supposed to as much as I'm supposed to . It's not a scam it saved my life and many of other lives. The staff is great I have nothing bad to say about this place.

Been going here for I believe 5 years now- there is a serious staff turnover, but that’s with any type of substance abuse establishment. It’s hard to find people to work in these places. I must say though the front desk is always nice, the nurses are all very sweet, helpful, and kind and all of the counselors I’ve had have been great. Also there’s never a wait (obviously since Covid it’s less) but even before that compared to the few other clinics I’ve been to this one’s the best- and always clean! A+

Considering what the staff has to deal with on a daily basis from most clients, I'm surprised they still care enough to help us at all. You would think people would be more appreciative of the help provided to us considering this is a position we put ourselves into without the help from anyone else. It just shows that some people still need to work on themselves...

It's been 8 years of an opiate free lifestyle. Very helpful people who are there for you. Not a place to go if you want to be pampered and very special.

Regardless of the other negative reviews this is all in all a good place to go if you really want the help.some of the counselors arent probably so good but mine is great,ive been going here almost 5 years and this place has turned my life around.im a completely different person from when i first started here.if you really want to better yourself and get off heroin/pain pills this is the place to go.the line in the mornings are a little hectic but move fairly quickly.they could deff use a separate line for workers or ppl that need to get home to their children.

This place has been nothing short of great. It really helps that my counselor Ande is one of my favorite people in the world.Always there for me when I needed someone.The entire staff from director ,nurses and the front desk staff led by Jen ,who is also a great asset there.When I was homeless and down and out.I was lucky to have some of the most compassionate people I've ever known to be there for me when nobody else was including family.

This is the best clinic I've bin to I've bin there a year and never had a problem IAM in and out every day with out a hold on my name and no problem 👍 I recommend this clinic to anyone that has a heroin addiction best clinic ever and if you for get your Sunday bottle it's not a big deal live this clinic

OMC is a great place for addicts who are ready to quit using and who want to learn to live with responsibility. This is not a place for addicts who still want to use and live that life. If you still want to get high, I do not suggest coming here as it will surely end unfavorably. OMC is a wonderful clinic, it gave me the opportunity to change my way of thinking and earn my life back. It didn't happen all at once, but over time I was able to gain back most of what I lost to drugs and alcohol. With help from the nursing staff and a lot of help from my counselor, today I have over 5 years clean and able to be a man who is relied upon and trusted. I am a better son to my parents, I have strong relationships with my brothers and even with their families. I am called upon and listened to with respect today and that is something I though I'd lost. Again, nothing happened overnight and I wasn't given anything, but with help from OMC it was made possible. Everything I have today I earned through hard work and scafrice. As much as I have today, as hard as it was to get it and as much as I appropriate it, I know that I can lose it all in an instant if I decide to use drugs again. I am very thankful to OMC and the staff that help me keep my life on track and going forward. OMC saved my life and helped me reach a point where I am confident in myself and enthusiastic about my future.

Been going here for about a year now, and i can truly say they saved my life. I would not be celebrating clean time at all if it wasnt for this clinic, the nurses, councellors, and staff.

Extremely dedicated nurses and an excellent doctor. With the help of the nurses and Dr. W you'll be in pretty good shape. If you're serious about getting your life together, ask for George as your counselor. Like everything in life, this is all up to you. You'll get out of this experience exactly what you put into it. Everyone has been very helpful and compassionate so far. Would recommend this clinic to others seeking help.
