Redding

This place is a miracle, I used opiates for almost 7 years and have been in this program almost 3 years now and have been clean since I entered those doors! This program has helped aid me in the horrible transition that takes the most time and is why most people fail right out of the gate! I couldn’t have made it this far without them and I’ll be fully weaned off the meds here shortly, I’m a full time student, an employee , I drive, not homeless as well and have been since beginning here. They won’t do everything, but this program makes life after drugs possible.

Aegis treatment center has given me a second chance to having a clean sober productive life I can't thank my councilor , doctor's, the helpful staff who continues faithfully to be there to answer my questions on a daily basis our office director who is a compassionate person who does his job well, he got me an appointment to see the doctor and after that I've been sober going on a year I owe them my life thank you aegis.

Great staff and an incredible resource

I'd first just like to say thank you to all of the staff at Aegis, you've never made me feel as if I was less than, because of my addiction. I've always felt like I was being treated with respect, even when I wasn't being very nice myself! Lol And I hope that you all know that you are appreciated very much! But I would like to also mention that here in Redding it's very difficult to admit that you are an addict,or tell them anything about being in treatment. They have been very judgemental and opinionated , about something they know very little about. I only wait for the people in Redding to become informed before bringing judgement amongst us addicts. No one in this world is without having committed a sin. And you should never judge other's when you haven't walked in their shoe's?! If you could please keep your ignorant, uneducated opinions to yourselves it would be greatly appreciated. We are all in this together and we need one another to succeed. So please say something positive if you know someone who is in treatment, because what they are doing is very hard, and also very brave! . This community could do so much more if only they accepted all people,no matter where they are in their own personal journey. So please be kind to all! It's not hard to do and if you want to see change your going to have to be part of the change you want to see! Thanks! And thank you Aegis you are truly saving lives, and that's just the beginning!

If you are considering getting clean and aren't sure just do it. Aegis in Redding is amazing the manager kraton front staff and counselors only want to see you succeed.

I recently connected with Clara Smith (C.Lee) for community outreach for my agency. She was very prompt and came over with many great resources. I am so grateful to have meet and collaborated with her. She is highly motivated in the community and a wonderful resource. She is working towards building a stronger more connected Shasta County. So excited to work together in the future. Thank you Aegis and C.Lee!!

They saved my life. Made me a productive and respected member of society. And help me take my life back. It's giving me the tools to be a responsible adult that is learned to give back to society I'm find God. 90% of the rumours you hear about the place are mostly that just rumors.

If you need help with getting off opiates please give them a call!! They have a great program.

Because it saves countless lives daily and keeps the heroin addicts from breaking into people's cars and homes, stealing stuff to get their fix. The medication they dispense does not at all alter the mind in any sort of way where it gets you high. Everybody looks down on this place, when in reality, the medication doesn't even change the way you feel or act. Except for the fact that you're not wanting to do drugs. I thank God everyday for bringing this place into my life.. So thank you Aegis Treatment Center. And to anyone struggling with addiction, I highly recommend given this place or call because within a month or two you will be drug free, you have to want to quit though.

I never do this! The upper management is integrity and definitely walks the walk. If you are out there and you can’t get anything right! You don’t have your kids.. Your dirty. Everyone hates you and you are giving up. Redding isn’t the town it was and you’re not fooling anyone. There is no more heroin. Good luck getting pain pills that are real.. Fent isn’t even going to last you very long and eveyone is ripping you off. Get real. This team will get you your life back. You have to take time to change some matters and that is between you and counseling. But if you go without the opiates things will start to get right. The hasn’t happened to me “yets” will become a reality and the name of this game is… “Did you hear so and so overdosed and died?” So get right! Love you fam. Thank you for the platform. This isn’t God pushing place but get your head together Jesus breaks strongholds quit betting for the devil….
