Pinnacle Treatment Center’s goal is to offer world-class connection and support for alumni, family and friends as they travel on the life long-journey of recovery. Through communication, meetings, events and activities, we work to cultivate bonds with alumni that reinforce the tools of recovery they have learned while in treatment. We look to honor the commitment and talents of those who stay connected by providing fellowship amongst each other and within the community. Through this partnership we seek to offer the opportunity of grace and the gratitude that is found by sharing the gifts of recovery with others.
Our Purpose: Pinnacle Treatment Center’s Alumni Relations recognizes the role of continued connection in successful outcomes, therefore we seek to reinforce the tools of long-term recovery for our alumni, family and friends by providing exceptional opportunities to connect, recharge, educate, advocate and give back to others in need of support.

Joi Honer has been in the addiction treatment field for over 27 years. She is a certified addiction and Co-occuring disorder counselor, and she possesses a bachelor’s degree in addiction studies. While her first 17 years were devoted to clinical services, the last 10 years Joi has worked in alumni services and alumni services leadership.
As a person in long-term recovery for over 36 years, Joi is both personally and professionally passionate about providing after treatment support for all who seek recovery from the impact of addiction. In addition to providing support and life-enriching connections, she understands the importance of allowing those in recovery to express their gratitude by giving back to others the gifts of recovery that they have received.
If like many other people, you find returning home to be one of the harder parts of recovery,
support from others who have faced the same challenges can be invaluable. The members of our alumni
groups are dedicated to helping individuals and families newly in recovery.
