Our History Our History

A foundation of pioneering positive outcomes for our patients with substance use disorders began decades ago. In 2006, a new story began to take shape with the acquisition of four treatment facilities in Pittsburgh and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Today, we have 37 facilities throughout the country–including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, and Ohio. Across these locations, we are transforming the lives, hopes, and dreams of more than 10,000 people every day through our innovative residential care, outpatient support, and medication-assisted treatments (MAT), and transitional living environments. As we continue to expand, we are working toward a better world where lives and communities are made whole again through our treatment of people with drug and alcohol addiction.
