Our Hanover, Pennsylvania opioid addiction treatment clinic has two distinct outpatient treatment offerings – a medication-assisted treatment program and a drug-free counseling program.

We are located close to UPMC Hanover and have ample parking and a private entrance. Clients from the surrounding communities of Parkville, Pennville and McSherrystown find it easy to commute to our outpatient treatment center, whether attending methadone dose appointments or group therapy sessions.

Medical-assisted treatment has become the standard of care for lasting recovery from heroin and prescription opioid abuse. Substances such as methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone), and Vivitrol have been found to lessen cravings and ease physical withdrawal symptoms. Once physical needs are met, the client is able to meaningfully participate in the other outpatient treatment.

Clients receive a full clinical evaluation and customized treatment plan that includes individual, family, and group counseling. Medication Management, Stages of Change, and grief and loss therapy are provided in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

We are proud to offer two unique programs for methadone clients at our Hanover clinic – the Intensive Outpatient Program (“IOP”) and the Enhanced Outpatient Program. During these programs, the client will also attend substance use disorder education classes and psychoeducational programming.

Our Hanover methadone clinic proudly accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and private insurance plans.
